About Deerpark House
Deerpark House is a purpose-built designated Centre which can accommodate up to 50 Residents providing long-term and short-term care, convalescence/post-operative care and respite care. Deerpark House participates in the Nursing Home Support Scheme known as “The Fair Deal” and accepts all Health Insurances.
Deerpark House Nursing Home was established in 1999.
At Deerpark House we encourage the Residents in our care to maintain control over their lifestyle. Our aim is to ensure freedom of choice, dignity and independence, all within a safe, friendly and homely environment.
To ensure we maintain the homes’ philosophy, our staff are recruited, trained and encouraged to develop their potential to the highest standard.
We aim to provide all residents with the following:
To provide the highest quality of care of all our Residents and to ensure all services are delivered to the highest standard of care.
To carry out a comprehensive pre-assessment where possible, and full assessment on admission for each Residents to Deerpark House.
To develop an individualised care plan, ensuring that all decisions reflect a partnership between the staff and Residents ensuring they are central and paramount in all decision making, to meet their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
To promote dignity, individuality and independence of all those who enter our care and to assist our Residents in achieving and maintaining all their goals and objectives.
To ensure care is evidence based as indicated by the Health Act 2007 (Care and Welfare of Residents in Designated Centres for Older People) Regulations 2013 and HIQA National Standards for Residents in Care Settings for Older People in Ireland.
To provide security and stability for all Residents in our care.
To promote a culture of continuous learning so that we can continually improve the care and services we deliver to each Resident.
